General condition and basic information of Karon Subdistrict Municipality
Karon Municipality is located at No. 1 Kata Road, Karon Subdistrict, Mueang Phuket District, Phuket Province, which is about 14 kilometers from Phuket town. It has a total area of 20 square kilometers or about 14,556 rai, consisting of 4 communities, 4 villages, namely Moo 1 Karon, Moo 2 Koktanod-Kata, Moo 3 Bangla, Moo 4 Kok Chang.

Principality
The north is adjacent to Patong Municipality, Kathu District.
The south is adjacent to Rawai Subdistrict Municipality, Mueang Phuket District.
The east is adjacent to Chalong Subdistrict Municipality, Mueang Phuket District.
The west is adjacent to the Andaman Sea, Indian ocean.

Geography
The topography of the southern area is mountains and plateaus at the foot of the hills. The area on the eastern side is characterized by low plains and foothill plains, location of communities and agricultural lots.
